I’m just embarking on a blog for my new website. Beginning the blog, I’m going to take a trip down memory lane and come up with some images from long, long ago.
This is me, outside my old school in Paris. Called Cours Dupanloup, it was a convent boarding school just down the street from the Bois de Boulogne, where we would play after lunch.
I was only thirteen – and I had the best time. I made lifelong friends and learned French that will stay with me all my life. The school was in the old home of Tsar Nicholas II’s brother.
My schoolmates came from around the world. The daughters of Jean Paul Belmondo were my classmates. A few years later while I was reading Paris Match I discovered that the Princesses Caroline and Stephanie were also students.
