Water rights are an important issue in the southwest states. Aquifers of the Rio Grande supply water to Colorado, New Mexico and Texas.

All states were represented at the100 year celebration of the Rio Grande Reservoirs in Alamosa.

That evening we all went on the hayride to a barbeque bonfire.
