The main purpose of our trip to Alert Bay was an invitation from Kaydee, Maquinna V, Princess XXV of the Greater Vancouver Native Cultural Association.

Calvin moved from Vancouver to care for his grandmother Mabel Rufus. She is also a princess.

At the Lip Sync competition I performed Ethel Merman’s “Everything’s Coming Up Roses”. Kaydee performed an Aretha Franklin number – first time in drag in Alert Bay!
